Sometimes owners of properties that are in foreclosure can present special challenges. They may be unwilling, for example, to allow an inspection of the property. Regarding properties that have already reverted to "Real Estate Owned" you may be interested in a quick disposition. There are three possible values that you might want to know - 1. As-is (without any work or repairs on the property), 2. repaired (the value with the work done required to bring the home to fair market value as compared to other homes in the area), 3. quick sale (minimal repairs, possibly selling the home quickly as a "fixer upper").
